What did happen with the new missionaries?

Well... first at all pardon me for take that much of time to update you guys but i (George) have been really sick.

Just how you know we didn't have the money complete to come down here but we was camping on God, we was suppose to start our trip the Sunday 11th of January, but for the 5th we didn't have any money, i remember i have just 300 USD and that was not just for me but for another 2 volunteer that was coming with me from my city, Barranquilla, Colombia.

I was really worry, anyway, my very best friend, a girl, was in troubles because she doesn't had enough to start the university this year, she did need around 140 USD, and i have always say that what i have in my pocket come from the same pocket from everybody else money, from God's Pocket, in that way, if she need the money in that exact moment i gave it to her, now we were with less money.

Well.. that happened Tuesday morning, in tuesday night a call from a relative of mine, i was not expecting this at all, Eunice, call me to tell me that she has 200 USD, and i praise the Lord, he start providing, wednesday came, another 60 USD Eunice talk to another friend in NY and he did help too, praise the lord, thursday came, Sara, a volunteer from Familia Feliz had another 500 USD ready to donate, praise the lord, Friday, In the offices of the adventisism in Barranquilla they gave us 150 USD, keep praising the lord, sabbat, In Jaider's church another 100 USD. PRAISE THE LORD!!!

We was just so worry about what we were going to do, we were waiting for that money long time ago, we were desperate because no money came in all that time, but in the last days, when it seems harder he did it, he likes the impossibles.

Amen!!!

Well i will go on later with the story because i have to go to Jeff's house for breakfast... God Bless You Brothers! Keep in touch!

P.D./Share this because people need to know the power of God.

What did happen with the new missionaries? Part 2

Hey brothers and sister, here i am again ready to go on with the story, well lets go on..
After we did receive the money we started our trip the 11th of January, because JAider en Carlos didn’t have passports we were going to get them in pasto, a city two hours from the border between Colombia and Ecuador, it was suppose to be something quick, well Jaider got his really fast but Carlos when we were doing everything, he said “I forgot my cedula (Colombian id) in Barranquilla (36 hours bussing from pasto) ” I was like.. No!! that will mess up all my travel plans… anyway, he didn’t even remember where did he leave it, so when he did remember the people in Barranquilla start to work hard and the cedula were suppose to get to pasto in two days.
Well now was the time to look what to do, thanks to the help of a really helpful girl in Barranquilla we got the telephones number from some pastors in Pasto and one of them pick us up and took us to some church to sleep there, this was the tuesday 13th, that day Oscar and José were suppose to join us in our trip, they came from Bucaramanga, another city and they were ready to serve the lord, anyway.. they got there at midnight, and right when they got there I told them that what we were doing was put all our money together because we believe that all the money come from the same pocket, God’s pocket, so I told them that if they will like to do that with us it was up to them… and they thought it was a great idea, so one of them gave me 200 USD and the other 125 USD, and I was really worry, how in the world we were going to get all of us with the money that we had…

Well I told them that and I did say… you know what… It doesn´t matters God will provide, and when we were ready to pray one of them said… hey george the true is that I have more money, and he gave me like 150 USD more, and the other say the same and he gave me another 150 USD and I told them..”wow, im happy that you guys took the right choice because God cannot bless us if we do that” so I told them bout the story of a man who selled his house and he was suppose to give all the money to Paul and he didn’t bring all the money, and paul asked him “is this all the money?” and he said “it is all the money” and in the same moment this man died in front of everybody, well what do you think happened when I finished telling them this… they were like… mmm George… you know what, now that you tell us this.. well we have more money, so here it is, each one of them end up giving me more than 600 USD, so that was another blessing, God was providing.
Our time in Pasto was a Blessing for us and for the brothers too… we were in Maranatha’s church, a humble little church, the members of these church treated us like kings, we were 6 people and we didn’t spend a dime in food all the days we were there, from just stay there two days, till Thursday, we end up staying there till Sunday, and they were so good with us, we did feel so bless with them, some of the things that really impress me while I was there was this little kid from the church, like 9 years old, he said, “you know what, I didn’t receive gifts in my birthday so they gave me 35 dollars for me to buy whatever I want but I want to give this to you guys because I know is the right thing.. I was so touch for this…” anyway we had a good time, everybody was refill of the holy spirit, before we left we decided all together that the church did need some help for the sound and some other stuff so we leave them some of the money we had.

Sunday we when to ipiales, the border town, but for a problem we cannot cross this time, so we slept in a pastor house that night, that was another blessing, Pastor Correa talked a lot with us, and he told us that they in ipiales had been praying for missionaries and they were getting founds with the brothers (really poor brothers) to pay for one missionary, well I told him bout the Volunteer Missionaries and he told me that would be great if one volunteer missionary can stay there, well we went to the internet to say the last good bye and stuff.. I kept that need in my mind… when I was in the internet, Jazmin, my girlfriend told me that she was in some town close to Barranquilla and a guy told her that he really need to talk with me.. so she gave me the cellular number and I did call him.. this was Eliud, he was a guy that before show a lot of interest but I don’t know what did happened I cannot get a hold of him again, I was sad because of that, and I got a hold of him just the day we were leaving Colombia… anyway.. I reminded that need of the missionary in ipiales and I did ask him “Eliud, do you really want to be a missionary or you just want to travel around southamerica?” he answer off course he want to be a missionary and serve the lord it doesn’t matter how or where, so I told him of the need in ipiales and thanks the Lord Eliud is in Ipiales Colombia serving a a Volunteer Missionary.
We keep in our trip, we did cross Ecuador, Peru and we got to Bolivia we got to Santa Cruz, Bolivia the Friday 23th of January, was a long trip, I got sick in Lima, Perú till Bolivia, I got really high feeber, and something start to appear in my mouth the and it did hurt a lot, in my tongue, gum, all over my mouth I wasn’t able to eat, and drink was really painfull, in less than a week I lost around 15 pounds , right now im still getting better.. little by little…
The story will continue, now Jaider, Carlos and me are in Rurrenabaque, working in the orphanage, José and Oscar are working in Trinidad as bible instructors with the pastors of the zone.
We don’t have money enough to cover all our spends, migration stuf and all of that, but just how God did Provide before we trust in him he will still do it, so brothers keep in touch and God Bless You All!!!!!
